take that, apple!

so my laptop screen died. it's still barely under warranty, so i sent it in. got it back this morning and they had inexplicably erased my hard drive, including the linux partition. I went to restore from my time machine back-up, and apple's own software restoring to its own hardware that had been wiped by its own technicians crashed. which was irritating.

so now my machine is running Debian Linux exclusively ^_^

and it was pretty sweet that one of the first things I saw after successfully wrestling with apple's proprietary wireless firmware was:
