Which is completely bogus. All languages are equally difficult/easy to learn. Children, barring major developmental disorders, learn all languages equally quickly and equally well without being explicitly taught the language. It might be more difficult for adult native speakers of only English to learn Japanese, but without that premise the vertical axis is meaningless.

I think it's probably assumed that you're an adult learning the language, if you're taking the quiz and all... no? And once you have a certain language ingrained in you, then there's definitly a change in difficulty based on the similarities to your current language, right? Maybe...?

His profile has also been viewed more than 45000 times since august 2005, which suggests he's been trying to get as much coverage as possible. He also has only "Hmm..." for his movies, which is probably the most common character-string in people's movie field. Moreover, he doesn't have any comments on his blog. Blogs of his sort, presuming innocence of spam, are essentially social, so the complete lack of comments is suspicious. But he has also gone to great lengths to write plausible park ranger stories.
